DIY: Polka dot clutch

Happy Saturday!
I am in love with polka dots this season and here is a DIY project that is super easy to do. I bought this clutch at a thrift store. I used nail polish remover to clean it up a bit and then use Krylon Satin spray paint in black to paint it. I let each side dry fully before bringing it inside to do the polka dots. I used the back end of a foam paintbrush for the dots. J. Crew has one for $158, here. This DIY clutch cost me about $10 ($3.50 for clutch at Thrift store and supplies).

What do you think? Do you think you can do this DIY project? (Promise it's real easy!)
Thanks for reading!

  2. From my point of view :) it looks like it turned out super great. What a cute idea! Have you had any problems with it rubbing off so far?

    1. Thanks Ash Louise! Krylon sells a clear gloss. I will put it on to seal the acrylic paint as well.
