DIY: Polka dot clutch

Happy Saturday!
I am in love with polka dots this season and here is a DIY project that is super easy to do. I bought this clutch at a thrift store. I used nail polish remover to clean it up a bit and then use Krylon Satin spray paint in black to paint it. I let each side dry fully before bringing it inside to do the polka dots. I used the back end of a foam paintbrush for the dots. J. Crew has one for $158, here. This DIY clutch cost me about $10 ($3.50 for clutch at Thrift store and supplies).

What do you think? Do you think you can do this DIY project? (Promise it's real easy!)

I spend a lot of time reading and learning about blogging. As a fairly new blogger, there is a lot for me to learn. One thing I want to make sure to all those who take the time to read my blog is that I stay true to my style and my purpose for this blog. I have always loved fashion, like most of you, but I have always kept it budget-friendly. I will continue to that. I will try to incorporate more ways of wearing the clothes that are sitting in my closet. So, after the long introduction today, I turned this dress into a skirt. That is one of the smartest ways to broaden your closet. Look for ways to re-invent the clothes you alreay own. How do you re-invent your wardrobe? Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my blog!
