Cooking Style: Whole wheat banana nut pancakes








Hi friends,
I made these delicious pancakes over the weekend. They were a hit at my house and we ate every little piece. It is a simple and healthy recipe to follow.

Ingredients:

1 3/4 c of whole wheat flour (I use King Arthur)
2 tbsp of brown sugar
3 tbsp of apple sauce
1 egg
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tbsp of baking powder
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 c of chopped walnuts
1 1/2 c of milk
2 bananas cut into pieces

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. In another bowl combine wet ingredients (milk, apple sauce, egg, vanilla). Combine with dry ingredients. Mix bananas and walnuts. Fry in a small pan. Enjoy!
