Work Style: Cream and gray

Sweater: Target (last fall) * Pants: JC Penney * Bag: Nine West * Shoes: Jessica Simpson via DSW * Necklace: Premier Jewelry Designs

Happy Wednesday!
Here is a warm outfit for this crazy cold week we've been having in Houston. You all know how much I love color, but I liked how this neutral outfit turned out. Mixing grays and creamy colors can be dressy enough for work or play. You can also switch out the bag and add a bold color like blue or orange.
I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving with your loved ones!

Casual Style: Mustard and blue

Happy Tuesday!
Here is a similar outfit I wore yesterday. It's been super cold (in the 30s/ low 40s!) so I am trying hard to keep warm. We took the kids to the museum, so I needed something warm and comfy. I forgot to put on here my cross body bag. Easy to carry and keep my hands free.

Have a great day!

Life Style: Weekend Happenings

So proud of my big boy getting his yellow belt!

Love their sweet little expressions!

My sweet family.

My parents with their 4 grandchildren.

My twin sister and I with my twins.

Happy Monday!
As you can see by the tons of pictures, we had a busy weekend. We took the babies with us to their big brother's belt ceremony and their first birthday party. I had fun taking pictures with my repaired lens. Love this lens! I usually get a new lens for Christmas, but since I just got this one repaired, I will wait a few months.
I am off all week, so I will be spending time with the kids, my parents, sister and nephew. I seriously can't believe it's Thanksgiving on Thursday. This year has gone so fast!
And by the way, I was so proud of Jayden to see him on the stage his yellow belt and a medal. He has made us so proud! He is growing up so fast and becoming such a sweet big boy!

Closet Remix: Purple Sweater

From left to right:
Outfit 1

Happy Friday!
We woke up to rain this morning and dipping temperatures coming up this evening. Gotta love the Texas weather!
About the outfits- this is one of favorite sweaters from J Crew Factory. Is thin enough for summer, or can be layered for fall. How do you remix your closet?

What are your plans this weekend? We have a jammed packed weekend with birthday parties.

Have a great Friday!

Thoughtful Thursday: Gratefully Blessed

Happy Thursday!
I wanted to do one thing I'm grateful for each day of November. Well, it's the 21st, and I'm just getting started. So, I have quite a bit to catch up on. I am so grateful for our 3 little miracles! I know first hand the heartache of infertility. But I also met some of my closest friends because of it. Every single one of these ladies was placed in my path for a reason. And this year, we each celebrate with our little miracles. And then my pregnancy with the twins was extremely hard. 86 days in the hospital on bed rest hard. But it was worth every singe day I spent laying in that bed. I would do it again if I had to. I carried these miracle babies to 35 weeks. All along, God had promised me we would go that far. It was hard to believe that when I was hospitalized at 23 weeks. Looking back on it, I know better now. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." Prov 3:5
So this year, I am gratefully feeling so, so blessed! I look at each one of my 3 children, and savor each smile, kiss, and moment. You only have one! We spend our evenings doing nothing but hanging out with each one of them. I look forward to this time every time I'm driving home from work. No matter how busy and hectic life gets, take the time to be grateful for the things you love most.
