Life Style: Weekend Happenings

Happy Sunday!
We spent Saturday at Jayden's last t-ball game. He played a great season! He enjoys it more than soccer and he'll play again this Spring. My hubby has played soccer all his life and wanted J to do as well. You can see when a child truly enjoys something and we have seen that in t-ball for him.

We also started the twins on rice cereal. We are taking it slow with them since their pediatrician said there is no rush. I can't believe we are at this stage. It's going by too quick! I keep telling myself to enjoy every little minute with them. They are our last, and before you know it, they'll be toddlers! It's much easier to enjoy every moment now that they are sleeping through the night. I don't know how we made through those first few weeks (8 to be exact!). It did become much easier once they started sleeping a bit more (Skipping 1 night feeding at 8 weeks). And like most parents of multiples will tell you, you just get through it.
I love seeing them reach different milestones as well. They were born 5 weeks early, but are so strong for their little bodies. They truly bring us so much joy! There are many times I look at them and I'm amazed that God blessed us with these two little miracles. My weekdays fly by. Before I know it, it's the weekend. And then our weekends are pretty packed. But as busy as I am being a mommy of three under 4 1/2, I am just trying to soak in every little bit of their innocence and cuteness.

Hope you guys had a great weekend!

  1. My son loves soccer, and that's fine when it's warm outside, but when it gets chilly, he gets to coughing (pedi. says winter allergies...I dunno). We may try t-ball because it runs here during the warm season.

    Your pics are great!
