Pregnancy News: 16 weeks and gender reveal!

Shirt: Liz Lange Maternity via Target * Jeans: Mimi Maternity * Shoes: Life Stride

How far along?: 16 weeks

Total weight gain: Up to 123 lbs, so 10 lb weight gain. I've been doing a lot of research and reading books on nutrition for multiples. I have to pick up the weight gain. My high risk OB has told me this, so the pounds will start coming on : )

Maternity clothes?: Yup, full on maternity clothes. This belly is only getting bigger!

Stretch marks?: None.

Sleep: I sleep great at night! But I've been a great sleeper. Hope I can keep it up. I'm going to need my rest!

Best moment this week: We found out/ cofirmed the gender of both babies! Baby A- girl and Baby B- boy!

Miss anything?: Being active. I am only going to have to slow down even more, so I am getting more used to it.

Movement: Yes! Feels like popcorn popping : ) I started feeling it about 15 weeks. I should've known Baby B was a boy because compared to Baby A, he's my mover and shaker!
Food cravings: Still craving fruit!

Symptoms: More stretching in my uterus especially on the sides and at the top of my uterus.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Labor Signs: Nope. But I started with Braxton hicks this past weekend. I have to slow down!

Wedding rings on or off?: On. We'll see how long it lasts!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I can go back and forth, but I've been in a happy mood lately.

Looking forward to: Now that we know the gender, getting everything in the nursery ready for them. Even though, I'll be watching more than doing. I look forward to seeing them every 2 weeks, and now my high risk OB will see me every 3 weeks instead of 4.

Picture Challenge: Soccer and Scooby

Happy Tuesday!
Jayden started playing soccer at a soccer club this last Friday. He has done Soccer Tots since 18 months, then we switched him to the YMCA at 3 years old. Now that he is less than a week from turning 4, he can play at a regular soccer club. B (the hubs) coached him for 2 seasons at the Y, but Jayden did not play much. He did great at the first practice on Friday. He will practice Tuesdays and Fridays for a couple of weeks, then games start on Fridays.
One of his friends from pre school had a Scooby Doo party on Sunday. The kids had a blast with Scooby and playing on the play ground.

Maternity Style: Bright polka dots

Top" LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl's * Jeans: Maternity (gifted)(similar) * Shoes: Steve Madden via Marshall's * Jewelry: Premier Jewelry Design

Happy Monday!
Here is a bright and cheery outfit for a monday. We are having such a mild winter, that I am really enjoying wearing Spring-like outfits. I love these skinny jeans, with the embellishment on the back pockets, which are too cute. I think my cousin wore it once when she was pregnant, so they are still brand new. I added the belt, a tip I read on other blogs, to accentuate the waist (or lack of one) at this point. My hubby did not like it and asked who came up with that idea. So, I had to prove him wrong and showed him plenty of proof of Pinterest and other blogs : )

I'm running out of cute pregnant clothing ideas fast. Any tips?

Work Style: Black and white

Sweater: J Crew * Pants: Loft * Necklace: Ebay * Earrings: Premier Design Jewelry * Clutch: Nine West via Marshalls * Shoes: JS via DSW

Happy Wednesday!
I'm linking up and today's challenge is black and white. Isn't black and white such a classic combination? It is one of the color combos of the season, or upcoming Spring season, that is. I wore this last week to work and decided to add a bit of color to break up the black and white. I am so glad to see that bubble necklaces are still going strong! Good thing since I have a few and look for new Spring colors.
Sadly, this is probably the last non-maternity outfit I will wear. My baby bump has grown exponentially in the last week!
Is this a new combination or has black and white always been around?

Picture Challenge: My big boy

My little power ranger.

Attempting to take a picture of him on the bridge. The only "good" shot I got.

Obstacle course at a Valentine's Party. And yes, he loves his Big Brother shirt.

Daddy and J reading together.

Happy Tuesday!
I was supposed to be taking a picture a day of J (my big boy). I even "signed" myself up for this picture challenge. I have slacked big time! I am hoping to get back into it. I really look forward to seeing these last few shots of J as an only child. It'll be 3 of them by this summer! So, here are a few shots from last week.

Night Style: Stripes of pink

B (the hubby) and I at dinner.
Dress: Liz Lange Maternity via Target $10.49 (recent) * Shoes: Nine West via Lord and Taylor $34.99 * Earrings: Premier Designs Jewelry $29* Clutch: Nine West via Marshall's

Happy Monday!
I actually wore this out to dinner for Valentine's Day. We had an early Valentine dinner at a new restaurant in town and the view was amazing! (Should've taken pictures!) It was so nice to get dressed up, for once : ) It is getting harder and harder to find clothes to wear with my growing bump, but can not fit in maternity clothes fully, yet. This dress is great because it has stretch to it, so it's fitted now, but it'll be even more once the belly grows!
And I've always loved pink. Growing up, my (twin) sister and I loved anything girly or pink. I guess to this day, I still do but do not wear it as much as I like : ) We are very excited to find out the gender of our twins next week! We are so grateful either way, and feel so blessed just to have healthy babies. But of course I want a least one girl. I have my wonderful son, and would love to experience being a mother to a girl as well : )

I have learned to trust Him completely! My life is a complete blessing because of Him, so who better to trust that our Lord and Savior! Have a great week!

Life Style: Valentine's Party

His face says: Mommy please?

Happy Valentine's Day!
J had his Valentine party at preschool yesterday and of course I was there to take a few pictures of my big boy. The kids had a great time decorating cookies, and then playing "musical" hearts. I have to give it to all teachers, especially pre k teachers, who can handle 13 three (almost four) year olds. It's sweet to J get all excited for such a sweet holiday!
B and I usually go to dinner for Valentine's day but don't really make a bid deal out of it. I guess another day to show your loved ones how much you love them : )

Do you make a big "deal" out of V Day, or is it another regular day for you?

Pregnancy: 14 Weeks

Dress: Liz Lange Maternity via Target $8.50 (recent) * Earrings and necklace: Premier Designs (recent) * Shoes: Macy's (old)

J- Sweater: Children's Place * Jeans: Polo * Shoes: JCP

How far along?: 14 weeks
Total weight gain: Up to 119 lbs, so 6 lb weight gain
Maternity clothes?: I have been wearing maternity skinny jeans when we go out to dinner, etc. I'm using a bella band to hold up my pants, because maternity clothes are still too big.
Stretch marks?: None. But my skin is starting to itch, so I am lathering the stretch mark cream on me!
Sleep: My body is already making me slow down. I have to lay down as soon as I get home from work, but luckily B is cooking dinner more often!
Best moment this week: I saw my OB this week. The blood work results from the ultra screen were all normal. The babies are growing and doing well!
Miss Anything?: Being able to do whatever I want, when I want to. It's so hard to depend on B to do everything for me (i.e, carrying heavy things, carrying Jayden, etc), but I know it will only be a few more months so I better get used to it. Anything to keep these babies in my womb as long as I can.
Movement: Nope, not yet. Can't wait to feel them moving!
Food cravings: Still craving fruit!
Symptoms: More stretching in my uterus especially on the sides and at the top of my uterus.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Wedding rings on or off?: On. We'll see how long it lasts!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I can go back and forth, but I've been in a happy mood lately.
Looking forward to: My next appt with the perinatologist, Dr. A, again! Hopefully we will find out what both babies are on Feb. 26th. Less than 2 weeks away! We have Baby A's gender, just want confirmation of both!

Work Style: Winter white and gold

Top: Charlotte Russe (old) * Pants: Loft * Shoes: Mossimo via Target * Sweater: Motherhood Maternity * Necklace: H&M * Earrings: Forever 21

Happy Tuesday!
Here is one of my outfits I wore last week. I am still wearing regular clothes, just using a Bella Band (here) to hold up my (unbuttoned) pants. I am using loose shirts from my closet to leave room for my belly. I added the coral clutch to add a pop of color as well. I also added my layered gold necklace to add a bit of glam to the outfit.
Are you wearing white this winter?

Life Style: Our miracles!

Happy Monday!
We are so excited to announce that God has blessed us with two miracles! We have battled infertility for over 18 months (my journey here) and we feel so extremely blessed and humbled by His Grace!
I hope you understand my lack of posts these past few weeks. It has been very hard keeping up with the blog through the first trimester. Mostly because I have been beyond exhausted (I also found out I was anemic, which adds to the exhaustion!) and now I can not hide this belly anymore. Also, it has been so hard not to discuss this in my posts. We have been praying as a family for the past 18 months for another baby, and as soon as our prayers were answered, we wanted nothing more than to give Him the Glory! I will continue to post fashion shots that will have to work with my ever expanding belly : )
Thanks for your support with this blog!

Work Style: Boyfriend jacket

Blazer: Old * Top: Thrifted * Pants: Loft $15 * Shoes: JS by Jessica Simpson via DSW

Happy Wednesday!
This blazer is part of a suit from long ago. I love that I can wear it as a bofriend blazer and turn it into more of 2013 look. I love the bright color of these pants, from Loft a couple of months ago, and I added a print shirt to tie the look together.
Do you like wearing boyfriend jackets?
