Plastic Tray and Fabric Tray: Ross
My closet (wall) for all my necklaces. I just used push pins. I've seen others use a board, like shown here.
Belts hung on coat wall hooks from Ikea.
So the new year projects are underway in our home. These are the minor changes I've been making. As much as I show organization in our house, you think we could keep it that way. But we always have tons of baby and little boy stuff everywhere. So, we continue to organize to try to keep things somewhat in their place. I'm one of those people that love to have things organized, labeled and in its place. But I have to work at it! It does not come easy. With that said, I will show you guys over the next few weeks how we organize our home and give you tips to do so yourself. Seriously! We have 3 under 4 1/2 years old, you can do it too!
Steps to an organized jewelry/accessory section
1) The first step, and the hardest really, is cleaning it out. Make piles of stuff you want to keep and the other to give away. You might even have a pile of things you just throw away. I did.
2) You can find jewelry trays for a reasonable price at Ross. I'm sure Walmart has them too. I bought the plastic one last year. Great for big things like bracelets. The fabric tray is a recent buy. I love all the little compartments. Perfect for small things like earrings.
3) Decide how you will organize your space. I decided to pair my earrings by color and/ or style.
Visually this is a perfect way to really see all your items and use them!
Let me know how you are organizing your jewelry/ accessory space?
