Liebster award

I was nominated by the Liebster Award by Rachel from Garay Treasures. I recently "met" :) Rachel, as she is a fellow twin mama. I will say that I am meeting so many twin moms lately and I absolutely love it! She is so sweet and genuine. I love her honesty about her struggles and her love for The Lord.

So, here are the questions she wanted me to answer:

Here are the questions for the nominees
1). What is your style or look? I love classic styles, such as pencil skirts and blazers. And I love feminine and romantic looks as well, such as pearls and lace.
2). Favorite designer? I love LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls, and higher end, Rebecca Minkoff, mainly for purses.
3). What is your treasured item (clothing, jewelry, anything) in your home and story behind it or memory? My husband surprised me with a 10 year anniversary ring this past year! I turned my original engagement ring into a pendant and I'm wearing my new ring now : ) And my Rebecca Minkoff bag. A splurge I found at Marshalls. My sister recently got a black one as a gift from her hubby. She had no idea who she was. As soon as I saw it, I was so excited. Speaking of, I need to borrow it soon!
4). If you had to keep anyone with you at all times (like a Siamese twin) who would you pick and why? Since I have a twin sister, and we are very close, I would pick her :)
5). Greatest fashion tip you want to share with the blogosphere? Belt everything. I belt all my skirts and dresses, to define my waist, especially after having my twins!
6). Greatest yard sale/thrift store find? I'm not very good at thrifting. I'm always amazed at what people find at thrift stores. If I picked one item, it would be an Ann Taylor blazer that I wear often.
7). Tea or coffee? Definitely coffee, especially skinny vanilla lattes. But I've been branching out lately and getting skinny caramel lattes. I know, such a drastic change :)
8). If you had to meet one person who had died again who would it be? I would say first Jesus Christ. To have lived at the time he was on this Earth would have been amazing. Second, my grandpa. My mom's father. He died before I was born, unexpectantly at a young age.
9). What article of clothing do you love the most? If I had to pick one, it would be skirts.
10). What is your favorite thing to do with your family/children/hubby? I love doing the every day stuff and just savoring the moments: dinner time, bath time, bed time. On the weekends, we are often doing something with family and friends and I enjoy the times we do get to relax at home.
11). What is your faith background? I was raised Catholic, but I am now Christian. I accepted The Lord into my life after my twin sister was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. My walk with Him grows each day, and I'm amazed by the miracle He has given us by healing my sister from cancer. But most of all, I am amazed at His Mercy and Grace to forgive me a sinner, and to give His only son for each of us. Now that I have 3 children, I can't even begin to imagine that ultimate sacrifice.

Questions I have for other bloggers:

1) Why did you start blogging?
2) How many blogs do you read daily?
3) What are your favorites hobbies?
4) What is your most prized possession?
5) What are your goals in life?
6) If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
7) IF you could back in time, what time would you go to?
8) If you could meet anyone, who would it be?
9) What has blogging taught you?
10) What is your faith background?

Here are the bloggers I am nominating for a Liebster award:
1) Lorena from My Everyday Wear
2) Becky from A Becky Blog
3) Eliz from Tiny Bits of Nonsense
4) Renee from
Fit for Motherhood

This award is meant for bloggers with 200 followers or less. I will hunt more down to nominate : )

  1. Thank you for your sweet compliment of me in the first paragraph :). I didn't know you had a twin sister- wow twins must run in your family? What about your husbands? It runs in my family but our twins are the first ever in his family. His grandmother dreamt we were going to have another set of boy and girl twins in the future and she swears it will happen haha ! Hey O have a 25% chance. I enjoyed reading these. I myself am wanting to invest in belts to wear with skirts/dresses. God is good, stay blessed. Rachel xo
