Double the trouble x 2. My cousin's twins and mine. Warm enough to be in a swimsuit for the first time, but not warm enough to swim!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend spent with loved ones. I absolutely loved this weekend. I can't remember the last time I felt so much joy in my heart. The weather was absolutely amazing! We spent Saturday with my in laws and Sunday with my family at my cousin's house. I was brought back to how we spent Easter last year. I had just been put on bed rest. I spent the whole day in bed (at home) while my family celebrated Easter. There is a reason we go thru trials. It brings twice as much joy the next time you get to celebrate an occasion. It certainly was the case for me!

The babies finally met my hubby's grandmother. I had not seen her in a year, and finally at 9 months of age, they got to meet. The kids had a blast being kids and enjoying all the festivities. We went to a later service on Sunday than our usual 930 service. It was incredible! The worship was amazing. Just thinking about it now makes me want to sing all the songs all over again. The message was touching, and we got to take a few family shots in our Sunday best.

We then went to my cousin's to celebrate Easter. B and I talk about childhood memories and traditions, as I did not celebrate Easter growing up. No Easter bunnies or egg hunts in Peru. We did attend mass to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus.
I love how we are able to make our traditions now as a family. But most of all, I love this day for the Hope we have in Him. My faith comes down to this day, the day He rose from the dead. Something about that just really warmed and touched my heart this year. I am so grateful beyond words!

Thanks for stopping by!
