                                                            Play time!

Our last weekend at home before Jayden starts Kindergarten! We spent it relaxing in the back yard, and riding our bikes in the neighborhood. Summer is winding down, well not temperature wise, but you know what I mean. Back to the routine, which I am looking forward to, but this is a big week for my big boy. He has been counting down the days to start school, and I'm pretty sure the all day routine of school will be an adjustment for him. All his school uniforms are bought, new shoes waiting in their box, new backpack and lunchbox, and supplies ready to go at school. And I am reminded of how blessed we are to be able to provide these things for him. I seriously stand amazed to see my 3 littles and most days can't believe they are ours. I try to savor each moment and memorize the time spent with each, because in the blink of eye, they are all grown up.

Enjoy these last couple of weeks of summer all you mamas with little ones in school. You have been so good to us summer 2014! #feelingblessed

Ps (anyone use that anymore? :)) Ava took about 10 steps today holding on to a plush soccer ball. I starting yelling with excitement because it came out of no where! And I may have shed a couple of tears. She is scared to walk and I think the comfort of holding on to something, gave her the confidence to walk. Isn't it crazy how life works this way. It's so hard to take a leap of faith in life but when you are holding onto The Lord, it's so much easier!

Have a great week!

  1. Aww I can't get over how big and cute your guys are. We enjoyed a science museum this past weekend ourselves and the kids enjoyed it. You were creative to put the hose on the slide. Have a great week! Rachel xo
