Marvelous in My Monday

It has been hard to get outfit posts for the past couple months. I even thought about taking them with my iphone today and completely forgot! I will promise to try to do better : ), because it also keeps me motivated in changing up my current wardrobe. I am not buying for myself lately. Something about having twins and wanting to dress them up! Ha.

So, I have been reading Fit for Motherhood for a while now and love how she does Marvelous in My Monday. So I thought I would give it a try.

Marvelous ....

Spending Sundays at home with my family and watching the Texans kick some tail!

Watching the game on a rather cool, ok not so hot, Sunday!

Aiden and a sports ball. Always attached to his hands!

Finding a box to have fun with!

Ava adores milk! She drinks 8 oz 4 times a day, and I'm sure would have more if we let her!

Having a girl to dress up. My sister and I were are such girly girls. We both love pink to this day. And I adore anything with pearls, lace and ruffles. I love how Ava is starting to love shoes, jewelry, and purses. Now, I know it's one of the least important things in life (sort of!), but none the less, my heart melts a little when she asks to wear a necklace. She walks into my closet and I have all my necklaces on the wall. She then proceeds to tell me every morning "dame" (give me in Spanish). I swear, it's the cutest thing ever!

Dress: Gift (similar) // Shoes: Stride Rite (via JBF resale) // Bow: Little London Lou (I turned headband into a clip) // Necklace: Thrifted

Having my dad home even if it's just for a few days. (He is working on a project in South America for 2 months). He left and then we found out my sister's cancer showed re-growth. And then we went through her 8 hour long brain surgery without him. I don't think I ever missed my dad like I did this past month. And the babies adore "Abuelito" (Grandpa). Especially my Aiden (my youngest son). He was shocked the first time he saw him last week and quickly went to clinging by his side. Sigh. Not looking forward to saying good bye in a couple days.

My sister and my dad.

My parents! I can't even begin to tell you how much my parents do for my sister, brother and I. My dad spend nights with me when I was in the hospital (hospital bed rest for my twin pregnancy), just to keep me company (and sane!). My mom was with me every single day while I was in the hospital, NICU stay (11 days) and the first 8 weeks of my twins' life. She came over every single day to help me take care of preemie newborn twins! I could go on. I am grateful beyond words. Don't know how I could ever thank them for all they do.

My parents and their 4 grandchildren.

Pumpkin anything! I love fall and the weather has been great. It's ususally unbearably hot even in late September/ early October. So I am able to enjoy pumpkin spice lattes any day now : ) I also can't wait to make my pumpkin and nutella bread. Yum!

Thank you Katie for hosting.
