It seems that everyone has started their Christmas shopping earlier this year. I stopped by Gap and Old Navy and picked a few things for myself and the kids and the stores were packed already! They had an awesome sale this past weekend and took advantage of picking up a few things we needed. I have been looking for a plaid shirt and found this one at Old Navy for 50% off! I decided to pair them with a skinny jeans for a "borrowed from the boys" look. Of course, I added a pearl necklace and stripes blazer to girly it up a little. Mixing prints works especially when you keep it in the same color family. And can't forgot a pop of color with my blue shoes : )
I have missed blogging these past couple of months. I also had stopped working out. Mostly the stress from my sister fighting cancer again took the energy out of me. She is going great, by the Grace of God, and has returned back to work as a speech therapy. It feels like life is going back to "normal" and would like to do the things I enjoy so much, like this little blog. It's crazy because there is always so much I want to write, but when it came down to it, I couldn't do it. My goal from the very beginning was just as an outlet to give women a little inspiration. Whether it be fashion, or to try a new recipe, or to realize that you don't have to have a perfect and seamlessly life. I certainly do not. I shared the hardships that life has brought, but I also have shared the joy. Most importantly, I want to share a little hope to those who need it. My faith is the reason I am who I am, and the main reason I am reminded of how blessed I truly am. I am blessed to have met women who are in my corner cheering me on constantly. That means the world to me!
