I hope you guys had a great weekend. We went to watch The Band Perry at the Houston Rodeo last minute. My parents graciously watched the twins and my in laws took Jayden to spend the night. It was a much needed night out for B and I. The Band Perry is awesome! I only knew a couple of their songs, and glad I got to hear some of their music. Saturday night, my sister and parents went to watch Insurgent. That was a great movie! I didn't think it could get better than Divergent, but it did : ) B stayed back with the kids. Love him! He knew how much I love this series.
Anyways, I recently did a major Spring cleaning in my closet. I ended up donating all of the clothes I didn't want, so I have treated myself to a few more items than usual. (This is my story and I'm sticking to it : )) Love the color of these red pants. They will pretty much go with anything. I wore them with a sky blue blouse a couple weeks ago and love the black palette with this outfit. I have also been on the hunt for a cute pair of black heels. I stopped by Target on Friday and I was sold when I saw this shoes. Love them! Certainly a sexy pair of heels.
Thanks for stopping by,

Back to work after a few days off for Spring Break. We finally had great weather this weekend. It was absolutely gorgeous and it seems that we all forgot what the sun felt like :) So it felt great to see it on Saturday. We took the kids to the Kemah Boardwalk. First time for B and I to take the 3 kids out on our own. We're out numbered, so it's not an easy task. They did great and maybe it's something we'll do more often.
I just bought these pixie pants from Old Navy and love the new colors! Nothing like coral to scream Spring. You can add a blazer to turn this look to a work-appropriate outfit. Add switch to closed-toe pumps. I'm so giddy about warmer and dreaming of a beach vacation. Nothing is planned, just dreaming. One can dream right??
Have a wonderful week!

Top: Ann Taylor (old) // Blazer: Kohl's (similar) // Jeans: Piperlime // Flats: Target (old) // Heels: Madden Girl via Ross // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Earrings: Stella & Dot // Necklace: Stella & Dot
I'm back with two looks for you guys. I realized that I am always reaching for this Rebecca Minkoff bag because it's so versatile. I wear it as a crossbody when I'm out and about with the kids. And as a regular bag for date night. I just bought these new Kaia earrings from Stella and Dot and also love the versatility of them. I wear them as studs during the day, and as statement earrings for a date night look. I also picked up these jeans during one of Piperlime's promo sales at 50% off. They hold their shape great, which is so important with jeans. I hate saggy jeans. And love that I can wear a blazer even for a day look. I just add flats to keep the look casual. And for my date night look, I added a fun pop of color with my pink heels. (A steal for $14! And they are super comfy too).
Hoping for great weather, and some sun, this weekend. We don't have any plans and hoping to start Spring cleaning around the house. The kids have outgrown their clothes, so maybe we'll do some shopping as well!
Have a great weekend!
